A fun run distance suitable for most people including families, social groups and high school students. Walk, Run, Race, Enjoy 5kms of Thermal and Forest trails in the Whakarewarewa Forest.

 

This introductory off-road running experience takes runners and walkers alike from the recreational hub of Waipa on to the Peak of Kohaturoa (Pohaturoa), providing stunning views of Whakarewarewa and the Rotorua Caldera. A perfect distance for leisure runners, corporate groups and a potential High School competition.
